Vehicle Description 1971 Alfa Romeo GTV now available with Gulf Coast Exotic Auto
Rebuilt 2.0L | 5-Speed Manual | Weber Carburetors | Alfaholics Upgrades
Gulf Coast Exotic Auto is proud to offer this beautifully modified 1971 Alfa Romeo GTV, finished in Mercedes-Benz Alumabeam Silver and powered by a rebuilt 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a rebuilt five-speed manual transmission.
Refurbished and modified under previous ownership, this GTV received extensive body, mechanical, suspension, braking, and interior work. The body was refinished in Alumabeam Silver following metalwork that reportedly included replacement floor panels, sill plates, and front valance. A backdated rear panel and taillights were also installed, along with 15-inch Panasport-style alloy wheels and Pirelli tires.
The 2.0-liter engine was reportedly rebuilt by Duffin Engine Services and features upgraded camshafts, oversized stainless-steel valves, dual Weber DCOE carburetors, electronic ignition, an Alfaholics radiator and fuel system, and Alfaholics stainless-steel headers and exhaust.
The five-speed manual transmission was also reportedly rebuilt and is complemented by a number of chassis upgrades, including Koni shocks, Alfaholics quick-steer arms, a front sway bar, Alfaholics four-piston front and two-piston rear brake calipers, upgraded rotors, Ferodo pads, and stainless-steel brake hoses.
Inside, the GTV features Recaro-style sport seats, a three-spoke Nardi steering wheel, refurbished Jaeger instrumentation, replacement carpeting and sound deadening, along with a custom Kenwood/Focal/JL Audio sound system.
A Vintage Air climate-control system has been installed but is not currently fully connected or operational. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 86k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
